    The Moon Series was inspired by the magnificent Super Blood Moon in May of 2021. In a time where the world was frantically fighting with a pandemic and constant thoughts of the unknown took over our minds the Blood Moon gave us a reason to slow down and be consumed by the world’s beauty. The concept that the stages of the lunar cycle affects one’s emotions, energy and relationships is intriguing. This theory of a power from the moon is what resulted in each Moon appearing to shed tears or to cleanse, creating room for the new sense of oneself and a state of contentment.

    The ocean seems to be so full it’s almost going to burst. The water is sparkling shades of blue and green and glides around and slips over all of the people that bob around inside it. The waves are big and full and lift swimmers up before placing them down again. Colourful towels, chairs and umbrellas are packed onto the shore leaving just enough room for little walking tracks down to the water’s edge.
